Worship at this Athens Church is more than an event, it's an experience! From the moment you walk into the Worship Center, until you leave, you will feel the presence of God as we worship and grow together. Our service is developed with the purpose of helping everything make sense in today's world, and the message is always something you can take with you during the week. 

What To Expect?

During a typical service at Compass, the band and singers will open with music that will get your heart pounding. After a brief moment to welcome you, we will continue with worship in preparing your heart for the message. During the message, we use Message Slides to help you follow along and fill in the notes. Following the message, the band and singers will return for a song that ties it all together.

Most people consider our music to be relevant to today's society. Whether it's an upbeat praise song, a top 40 hit, or even a meaningful song from yesterday, we strategically choose music with a message. If you don't know the music, or if you don't feel like singing, that's okay. God's desire, though, is that we worship Him with everything that is within us. The Bible says, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."

How Should I Dress?

What should you wear to this Athens Church? Whatever you are most comfortable in. On most Sundays, you will find the worship team and regular attendees of Compass wearing casual clothes. We're concerned with the inside, not the outside.

So, come see what all the hype is about. We have a seat waiting for you and we know you will enjoy it! We meet every Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15 and there is always excellent kids environments available!
