Compass Church is partnering with the East Athens Development Corporation for our second housing project. This house is being built for an elderly single woman, whose home was condemned by the county because most of the roof was deteriorated. The EADC has rebuilt her home, and our amazing Compass Volunteers have been given the opportunity to contribute to this effort by landscaping the house.

On Saturday June 27th from 9:30 – 4:00 we will be digging and raking and doing all the pre-install work. On Saturday July 11th from 9:30 – 4:00 we will be installing flowers and plants as well as providing final touches to the yard and house so that it is ready to be given away to a special widow in our community!

In addition to your service if you could bring any shovels, rakes, post hole diggers or wheelbarrows for the project it would be much appreciated.
